What's my size again?

I am frantically Ebaying loads of items from my clearout.

It has struck me that the clothes I have uploaded (or will be uploading shortly) range from UK size 8 to 14! This is why I struggle with clothes shopping! Men seem to have XS, S, M, L, XL and it seems that the same one size fits you in whatever shop you visit.

I like visiting clothes shops that size their clothes generously.. however having to go up a size or two is never a nice experience (and sends most women off for chocolate/makeup retail therapy!)

Which shops do you find size thei clothes strangely?

Here it is. Round Two!

As before, I will use Ebay to sell. I considered doing a blog sale, but it is not possible at the moment for several reason!

Her is a snap shot of some of the items (like I did last time!)
As you can see, there is quite a haul so it will take me a while to upload, and this is not even half!

Items include;
BENEFIT Bad Gal Lash Mascara (mini)
Margaret Astor Mascara (Mini)

Clarin's lipstick (swiped once on hand, and tip cleaned with a tissue (if anyone has better ways of cleaning products then let me know!)

Limited Edition Natural Collection Shimmer Powder containing Oil of Orchid
A Limited Edition No 7 Flipstick in Lambretta (swiped on hand, and cleaned as before)Items by Barry M, Rocher, Beauty UK, Yves Rocher, Clinique, Natural Collection, No. 7, Guinot, Benefit, Crabtree and Evelyn, Jean Paul Gautier, Sanctuary, Umberto Gianni, Joico, New Look, Monsoon, Boots, Superdrug, Estee Lauder and many many more.

I just dont have any room and have several duplicates through have two living bases in the past.

I will post things abroad if the postal service will take them- I will look into the rules if you email me! I will also be posting more pictures as I go along!

So, if you are looking for a bargain then check out and keep checking over the next few days as I upload more of the sale items! Also if you are after something then email me as I may have it but not have listed it yet.

Multiple purchases can be posted together saving you postage money.

Reuse and recycle :o)

Round 2 Sale...coming..

Just because I have been asked...
Round two of my clear out sale will be starting tomorrow.

I have lots of general things for grabs, but make-up wise I think I will start with a Clarins Lipstick that I have other similars ones of. I will be uploading things over the next few days as and when I have time.

What I hope to do is take some photos and put them here, and try to create a video with talking! So far my computer crashed when i tried to upload a vlog about my 30 Day Skin Challenge, so having a video with talking is a novelty!

I love recylcing, reusing, passing on hints and tips. If everyone reused ad recyled the enviroment would be a lot healthier!

30 Day Skin Challenge

Well I'm back, I hope!

Update on the 30 Day Skin Challenge:
It has gone ... wrong... Sad to say that between a few over night visits, some hot sunshine, suncream, homones, diet changes and forgotten products.. it has been classed a failure before the 30 days are up! I am finding the Bio-oil ok, but with suncream, tea-tree oil, my oily skin.. hm.. not pretty!

So, I am restarting my skin challenge and considering ammending it a bit. I love tea-tree oil but I think that I need to include a routine that opens and unclogs my pores (removing deep dirt/oil etc). Can anyone recommend anything?

Offblog- exciting news!

I have to offblog for a bit due to haveing no internet :( but if you email or message me then I will reply as soon as I get the internet back! Hopefully a week/week and a half.

HOWEVER- the silver lining is that I will be doing round 2 of my clear out sale when I return to the internet world! A sneak peak of items... Benefit Badgal Mascara (mini, unopened and unused), Guinot back with lots of travel minis (again unopened and unused), Crabtree and Evelyn products, Barry M, Collection 2000 etc high, middle and low end!

Nail Varnish, bronzer, mascara, eye shadow, clothes, etc..

WHY? Because I have no room for anything else, and no living space so I am downsizing and getting my things to go to homes where they will be loved! So add me and keep an eye on my blog. I will update things here.

Stay tuned! I will be back!

Product I love: Tea Tree Oil

An essential product that I carry pretty much everyhere.

Not only is it good to use (diluted) on spots, but did you know that you can use it on insect bites too?

It is a natural antiseptic, and can come in concentrated little bottles meaning that you get more for your money!

You can also use it to help strengthen and clean finger and toe nails. Many nail technicians and doctors recommend putting it on toenails that are split or have infections!

Tea Tree Oil has so many uses- do you use it and what for?

Always read the bottle as it can be bad to use it 100% neat.

(For those in the UK, I pick mine up from Superdrug for a pound or so in a small concentrate bottle!)

30DSC Update

Well I am still going with my 30 Day Skin Challenge. I have got some St. Ives Apricot Scrub to try so I will let you know how I get on with that in a bit.

I am finding the Bio Oil ok so far, I just wish it came with a better way of applying it. The bottle just has a hole at the top which is about half the size of a biro. Sometimes I feel I pour too much oil out and then I'm left with a residue on my fingers.

I havent worked out if I like the smell yet. It smells almondy but combined with a few other things.

If anyone has any tips then let me know!

Moisturiser: Product I like: Review.

This is one of my products of the moment.
'The Santuary' has a Spa in Covent Garden in London, but for those of us who are not in London they also have a range of wonderful products allowing you to have a Spa in your own home!

The 'Protective 24hr Moisture Lotion SPF15' is one of my best products at the moment. It might seem a little runny at first, but I find that I barely use any in an application. It is absorbed fairly quickly by my skin and has a built in SPF15 which is perfect. You can also buy 'Travel-Mini' sizes which makes it perfect for my handbag or hand-luggage. I find this product really useable for everyday wear and will have no hesitation prchasing it again in the future.

Sanctuary also have an offers on at the moment including;
20% off Gift Vouchers until the 11th August
3 for 2 on products
Day Spa Offer for £99
£15 of Evening Spa!

Their web site is although you cna pick up some of their items from Boots.

How to travel light?

I always seem to start by packing light, and then end up throwing in lots of random items in at the last minute. How you do pack light?

How do you make sure that your items dont explode on the plane? Help appreciated!

30 day skin Challenge (30DSC)

Right. I am biting the bullet. My skin has always been bad and has made me feel self-conscious. Consequently I have picked it at stages, used make-up cover up and countless products.

I have now challenged myself to a '30 Day Skin Challenge' (30DSC).

In a bid to help my skin and confidence heal I pledge that for the next 30 days I will;

AVOID SELF HARM: Not pick/squeeze/touch! A sterile needle can be used in emergencies (safely).
KILL BACTERIA: Clean my makeup brushes every time after use.
CONTAMINATION: Avoid putting concealer directly on my face. Instead I will use a makeup brush or not wear any at all if I dont have time!
LET MY SKIN BEATHE: Wear as little makeup as possible or for as fewer hours as possible.

For the next 30 days my face routine will involve;

*PAD Exfoliation (Twice a week with exfoliating scrub).
*ROUTINE: Separate Cleanse, Tone and Moisturise (Twice a day am and pm).
*TREATMENT: Bio-oil (Twice a day).

*SPOT TREATMENT: Tea Tree Oil (once a day as required).

While I have had routines in the past, I have found myself getting sucked into using those 'quick used face wipes' which contain NO lasting moisturiser. I have also used 'spot clearing' face pads that have contained drying alcohol. Add together hormones and such and things a bit depressing!

I will be blogging about my progress and hopefully taking daily photos which should go into YouTube Videos. I will also put hints and tips up along the way.

If you have any hints or tips then please share them, and help me with my journey to healthy skin!

I think it will get worse before it gets better... but it will be better in the long run.

So, do you fancy joining me for Project 30DSC?

Sale Update- inspired by Project 10 PAN!

So, most of you will know about Project 10 Pan by Lollipop26. Well I started Project 10 drawer and will now be downsizing my items, and selling the unused/unopened/unloved items!

So you'll have to be quick!

In general, I have found ebay great to deal with. I don't know why I didnt do it sooner! Recyling is the way forward, and I am happy knowing that my items are going to homes where they'll live out their potential!

Well the project is certainly not over. Round two will be following in a couple of weeks. I am going to try my hardest not to buy items while away.. but does it count if you are in a different postcode??!

Items that will be coming up include brands like Barry M, Guinot, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Yves Rocher, Benefit, Mac, Beauty UK, Me me me, Collection 2000, The Body Shop, Crabtree and Evelyn, Philips, Joico, Paul Gautier, Tea Tree, Rimmel, Natural Collection... And loads more.

To those that asked, I am willing to send most items abroad so if there is something you want then drop me a message as I might have it.. or even be willing to get it for you!

So, keep an eye on here!! I will update when I have the next Round of selling.
I might do Blog sales in the future when I have been here a bit longer.

First Post!

After watching countless youtube posts and reading many blogs I have decided to start up my own. I'm just a normal girl who is hoping to give real opinions, reviews, thoughts and information on makeup, fashion, music, food, and culture. I think that covers most of it.

I don't live near London so I wont be reporting on London shops much, but hopefully you'll join me for the ride in swaping tips, stories and freebie warnings!

So a few things about me;
I live in the UK (but not near London!)
I have a random collection of many things (some of which I have just started to ebay for fear of loosing my living space)!
I will write what I think, and if you don't agree that is fine. Everyone is different and diversity is great.
